Robert Hill is JAXUSA Partnership’s 2012 Chair and serves as the President and CEO of Acosta Inc. In his role as president and CEO, Robert has led Acosta in meeting the sales and marketing objectives for more than 1,000 consumer packaged goods companies across North America, and the acquisition and integration of 20 agencies to increase Acosta’s size, scale and service offerings. As JAXUSA Partnership’s Chair, Robert is working to continue economic development initiatives in order to recruit and retain jobs in and around Jacksonville and experience makes him an ideal chair of economic development.
Previously, Robert served as President of Siler Brokerage, a family business founded in 1927, and managed sales and marketing for numerous consumer packaged goods companies when Acosta acquired Siler in 1994. After a series of positions with increasing responsibility, he was appointed Acosta President and Chief Operating Officer in 2004 and led the company to record financial results with double-digit revenue growth.
Robert also serves on numerous industry-related boards and is active in the Jacksonville community. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baptist Health System which encompasses six Northeast Florida hospitals, a member of Baptist Medical Center (Downtown Board), a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northeast Florida, and a member of the JAX Chamber Board of Directors.
