Bank of America Merrill Lynch Expanding Operations, Adding Jobs

After more than a year of analysis and deliberations, Bank of America Merrill Lynch is moving forward with plans to expand its Jacksonville operations and add approximately 1,000 new jobs. The company evaluated our labor market, real estate options and investment potential and decided Jacksonville was the ideal choice to continue growth and expansion plans. Bank of America Merrill Lynch has already begun modernizing its facilities to create room for new employees, which will generate tens of millions of dollars in capital investment.

The region's financial services industry has seen solid growth in the past year and the company's expansion is further evidence of this industry's track record in Northeast Florida.
