City, business and community leaders, including City Council member Lori Boyer, JAXUSA President Jerry Mallot and Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams, joined Daily’s President & CEO Aubrey Edge to celebrate the growth of Daily’s Convenience Stores and the company’s new addition in Northeast Florida.

With more than $1 billion in revenue, Daily’s is one of the largest taxpayers in the area, The company has been a major economic contributor to Jacksonville since 1997. It currently employs more than 600 people in Northeast Florida out of its 1,000-person workforce.

Similar to many of the area’s headquartered companies, Daily’s leadership team strongly believes in giving back to the community and being a strong corporate partner. The company raised more than $500,000 in 2015 to support local organizations.

With the opening of its newest location in the San Marco neighborhood, Daily’s has partnered with the Julia Landon College Preparatory School to provide monetary support through donations and Dash restaurant sales proceeds.

“Daily’s has always been a strong community partner and I am appreciative of their efforts to support one of our local schools with their financial donation to the Julia Landon College Preparatory School,” said Jacksonville City Council member Lori Boyer.

This expansion is another example of Jacksonville’s strength in nurturing and developing local headquarters operations.
