Coastal Cloud, a computer service company and subsidiary of Graphene, was looking to invest $3.1 million to move its corporate headquarters. At first, the company considered northern Virginia but decided it was too expensive and there’s a lot of competition for employees. They cited Florida as a business friendly state with a superior workforce.

Coastal Cloud offers cloud computing services to small and medium sized businesses. The company also implements and maintains software as a solution services including one of its most popular products, Salesforce.com.

The owners decided on Flagler County because of its quality of life. They noted that Flagler has a great combination of high quality of life and low cost of living. The options for living are numerous including the beach, a golf course or a salt water canal.

The company said it could provide 100 jobs in three years and would build a new $3.1 million office complex. The new facility will be used for providing analysis, programming and training to small and large companies seeking to expand and optimize their current operations.
