Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. and Borregaard ASA have chosen Fernandina Beach as the location of their new venture, LignoTech Florida. The new manufacturing facility will be housed at RYAM’s Fernandina Beach site and will create 50 jobs in Nassau County.
Akron, Ohio-based River Valley Paper Company, a manager, processor and exporter of waste paper, has chosen Yulee, Florida as the new home for their Southeast processing facility.
Science First, a manufacturer of astronomy and physics education equipment, recently purchased Science Source, a manufacturer of science education equipment located in Waldoboro, Maine. Science First is also the premiere manufacturer of the STARLAB and digital STARLAB planetariums. Inventory and assets were moved immediately to Science First’s headquarters in Yulee, Florida.
