EverBank
EverBank expanded its headquarters in 2006 by moving its corporate players to NorthBank in downtown Jacksonville.
“The new EverBank headquarters in downtown Jacksonville is an important part of our ongoing commitment to the local area and evidence of our core strategic plan to grow our Florida and Southeastern banking business,” said Robert Clements, Chairman and CEO of EverBank.
In 2010, EverBank inked a five-year deal for naming rights to the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars’ stadium, now known as EverBank Field. Two years later, the company became a publicly traded company.
“We have a big stake in the community here,” said Clements. “We have approximately 3,000 employees in Jacksonville. We feel very fortunate to be located in a city that’s a very positive environment to build a company, and we want to see Jacksonville continue to be a dynamic city that will help us at both attracting talent and retaining talent, and we’re very committed to supporting this community.” [2013]
