Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc.

Working with JAXUSA Partnership, Vistakon (now doing business as Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc.) gained City Council approval for an incentives package. The company manufactures product both here and in Limerick, Ireland, but Jacksonville beat out Ireland for the expansion.

The $218 million expansion will boost Vistakon to almost 2,000 employees and close to 800,000 square feet of space. The new jobs will pay an average wage of $65,000 plus benefits.
