Clay County is an “A” School District

“This is wonderful news. Our graduation rate is the highest in history and now Clay is an “A” district under the new grading model. This is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the teachers, support employees and administrators throughout Clay. Through teamwork we are making Clay great,” said Superintendent Van Zant.

School Board Chairwoman Johnna McKinnon said, “I want to congratulate all the teachers, support employees and administrative staff.  This “A” grade is a reflection of your hard work every day. This “A” grade is also the result of the Superintendent’s clear vision for Collaborative Classrooms in elementary, The Academies of Clay in high schools, an emphasis on STEM education, and community engagement. The plan is working!”
