John Freeman

John Freeman serves as Vice President of Business Development at JAXUSA Partnership, specializing in the transportation & logistics and advanced manufacturing industries. A recognized leader in economic development, John has built a successful career driving business growth, supporting regional companies in expanding operations and promoting international trade and investment opportunities.

John studied business at Flagler College and earned a master’s in business administration from Jacksonville University. His lifelong passion for the water and the world around him naturally led him to the maritime industry and subsequently to economic development, where he has successfully managed regional trade development and international recruitment programs.

After co-owning his own business, John returned to his true passion: advancing international trade and investment in Northeast Florida. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for delivering results, fostering strategic partnerships and strengthening the region’s economic ecosystem.

John is married with two adult children and enjoys living in the coastal paradise of Northeast Florida.
