“Our priority as a company is to meet the real-time design, manufacturing and schedule needs of our customers. Locating all our capabilities here in JAX – from engineering to manufacturing, and electrical to structural – allows us to be more accessible and responsive to design changes and often time-sensitive requirements without compromising schedule. It just makes sense,” said GRACE Aerospace President, Stephen Carlo.

With more than 16 years of experience building aircraft, vehicle and ground support parts for both military and commercial end users, GRACE’s expansion will bring an additional 25 jobs to the local community and expand the production facility by more than 15,000 square feet.

“Like so many other companies have before, GRACE Aerospace recognized the opportunities for growth in Jacksonville’s aviation sector,” said Jacksonville City Councilman Doyle Carter. “We are excited to see the company expanding and bringing more advanced manufacturing jobs to Cecil Commerce Center that will continue to put our citizens to work.”

The new space is equipped to handle electrical wiring, assembling, ground support test equipment, and now the manufacturing of metal/structural components. The company’s expanded operation includes technicians and engineers, along with manufacturing, procurement and program managers to support the local aerospace community.

In addition to supporting the local bases, the Defense Logistics Agency and all branches of the military, GRACE has an established performance history as a supplier to Prime Contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BAE Aerospace, Boeing, and L-3.  The company is an AS9100 certified facility and maintains the highest quality marks for customers around the world.
