The company evaluated its current operations and ultimately selected Jacksonville based on our proximity to consumers and the strong logistics infrastructure in place. Jacksonville is one of UPS’ largest hubs in the country and will expand its packaging operations from 60,000 packages per hour to 80,000 packages per hour.

UPS currently employs more than 1,600 people at its Jacksonville operations and is committed to growing its state-of-the-art operations here.
