Chief Executive Officer and President Michael J. Turwitt said the company selected St. Johns County from among dozens of others to manufacture its clean energy power generation systems “due to its proximity to major ports, a strong regional base of potential suppliers, a positive and pro-active business climate and a good pool of potential employees with manufacturing experience,” Turwitt said the company considered several other states, including North Carolina and South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia, before deciding on Florida and St. Augustine. The company purchased an existing 60,000 square-foot industrial building with additional land adjacent to the property for future expansion.
